The seventh month of the year.
Although, seven carries significance and importance of its own being, it appears to be God’s second most used number in Scripture (21 is first). There is inherent mystery and significance to seven beginning with Shabbat being the seventh day.

The heavens declare the redemptive plan of God, and He wants us to recognize His plan and walk it out in the earth realm.  Read Psalm 19 in the Passion Translation.

God provided a time to feast at the Head of the Year that we might gain revelation, it is the reservoir from which we will draw our strength and inspiration throughout the year ahead. Just as the head directs the body, Tishrei is the head of the year spiritually.

This month is connected with opportunities to be inspired, and become more fulfilled as we become more in step with our spirit man and how he relates to the Holy Spirit.

Tishrei is the month you can press through to actually feel the presence of God. You can touch Him in such a way that He releases virtue into you.

Read Mark 5:25-34 in the King James Version, the story of the woman who pressed through to touch the hem of His garment.  The woman touched Him and received virtue.

Virtue – as in Mark 5:30 dunamis – strength power, ability

1. inherent power, power residing in a thing by virtue of its nature, or which a person or thing exerts and puts forth

2. power for performing miracles

3. moral power and excellence of soul

4. the power and influence which belong to riches and wealth

5. power and resources arising from numbers

6. power consisting in or resting upon armies, forces, hosts

Ask Holy Spirit to show you in a vision the woman pressing through to touch the hem of His garment and then imagine yourself touching it just as the woman did. Receive His virtue.

Write your experience.

This is a month linked with arousal, awakening and bitterness.  Many do not process bitterness in the right manner.  After eating bitter herbs at Passover, we need to be sure we are cleansed of all bitterness to move into the New Year.
Ask the Lord to show you a Door of Bitterness and if it is opened. If indeed it is open, ask Jesus to show you what must be done to cleanse the bitterness and close the door.

This is the month to be well balanced and in control as things complete and begin.
During this month, decree that the things that have been scattered will be returned to you.

TRIBE
Chuck Pierce associate Tishrei with Ephraim

Highlights of Ephraim:

  • He was the second son of Joseph, but received the first-born blessing from Jacob.
  • It means double the fruit.
  • Joseph pronounced “God made me fruitful in the land of my afflictions” when Ephraim was born.
  • Joshua and were from Ephraim.
  • Over 20,000 warriors came from Ephraim to David at Hebron.
  • People from Ephraim responded to Hezekiah’s invitation to celebrate Passover.
  • Zechariah 10:7 describes Ephraim as a mighty man who rejoices in the Lord.

The city of Shechem was one of the most influential cities of Ephraim. Joseph was buried in here.

Alphabet
Lamed (láh med) – the 12th letter of the Hebrew alphabet and is considered the heart of the alphabet because it is in the central alphabet.
It means to learn and to teach. As a directive to all individuals.

And now, O Israel, hearken unto the statutes and unto the ordinances, which I teach you, to do them; that ye may live, and go in and possess the land which the LORD, the God of your fathers, giveth you. Deuteronomy 4:1 JPS Tanakh 1917

The spelling of Lamed can be seen as an acronym for the phrase lev meivin da’at, meaning “a heart that understands knowledge.”
The goal of teaching and learning is to gain heart knowledge.
Ask God to teach you “heart knowledge” this month.

COLOR
Black/ Black Onyx or Agate

CONSTELLATION / MAZAL
Libra – the scales

This is a month to concentrate more on the justice system than you do in other months.
